spaghetti with meat and peas

A friend gave me this recipe. It has ingredients that I usually have in the house and can whip up for a quick dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef, lean
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • - adobo powder
  • - coriander
  • - cumin
  • - black pepper
  • 1/2-3/4 cup ketchup
  • 10 ounces frozen peas
  • 1 pound spaghetti or linguini
  • 6 ounces can tomato sauce (small can)

How To Make spaghetti with meat and peas

  • Step 1
    Heat a large pot of water to boiling and cook pasta to package directions. Brown ground beef, onion and garlic in a large skillet.
  • Step 2
    Add Adobo, Coriander, Cumin and pepper to taste. Add one small can tomato sauce. Add ketchup to taste. Add frozen peas (or canned peas, drained).
  • Step 3
    Add cooked spaghetti to skillet and toss to combine.
