This recipe comes from the Foods class that all 3 of my kids took in high school, we have it once a week.

1 lb
ground beef
1/4 c
chopped onion
1 clove
garlic, minced (or 1/4 tsp. garlic powder)
1 can(s)
tomato paste
2 can(s)
diced tomatoes
1 1/2 tsp
worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp
1/4 tsp
1/4 tsp
basil leaves
1/8 tsp
1 large
or 2 small bay leaves

How to Make Spaghetti Sauce


  • 1Brown ground beef; drain.
  • 2Put all ingredients in a medium saucepan, thin with water to desired consistency.
  • 3Simmer up to 1 hour.
  • 4Serve over cooked spaghetti or macaroni.
