This recipe comes from the Foods class that all 3 of my kids took in high school, we have it once a week.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced (or 1/4 tsp. garlic powder)
  • 1 can(s)
    tomato paste
  • 2 can(s)
    diced tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    oregano
  • 1/4 tsp
    basil leaves
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 large
    or 2 small bay leaves

How to Make Spaghetti Sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown ground beef; drain.
  2. Put all ingredients in a medium saucepan, thin with water to desired consistency.
  3. Simmer up to 1 hour.
  4. Serve over cooked spaghetti or macaroni.
