The layer of Ricotta chees makes this really good!

Ingredients

  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce
  • 8 ounces spaghetti pasta
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound italian sausage
  • 2 - eggs, beaten
  • 8 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 3-6 large mushrooms
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 1 cup mozzerella cheese, shredded

How To Make spaghetti pie

  • Step 1
    Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and cool noodles with cold water. Mix in eggs (making sure pasta is cool enough as to not scramble the eggs).
  • Step 2
    While pasta is cooking, brown meat with onion and mushrooms; drain off fat. Add spaghetti sauce.
  • Step 3
    Press pasta into a large, greased pie pan. Smooth Ricotta sauce over pasta and then top with meat sauce.
  • Step 4
    Cover with foil and bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes. Remove foil. Top with shredded mozerella cheese and bake an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
