Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 pound italian sausage, crumbled
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 15 ounces tomato sauce
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 6 ounces thin spaghetti
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
How To Make spaghetti pie

Step 1In a skillet, over medium heat, saute beef, sausage, onion and garlic until the meat is cooked. Add the tomato sauce, tomato paste, basil and oregano. Simmer 30 minutes.

Step 2Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and chop into pieces. Combine with butter, parmesan and egg and press into the bottom of a 12" pie pan. Spread with ricotta, then meat sauce. Top with mozzarella. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
