This spaghetti casserole is a family-friendly weeknight meal everyone will love. It's a nice change from a regular bowl of pasta. When combining the pasta with the ground beef meat sauce, it's very hearty. Lots of melted cheese on top makes this dish rich and creamy. Serve with bread for an easy dinner idea.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups water
  • 1 package angel hair pasta (12 oz)
  • 1 package onion soup mix
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can tomato sauce (15 oz)
  • 1 can tomato paste (6 oz)
  • 1 tablespoon parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese

How To Make spaghetti casserole

  • Add onion soup mix and angel hair pasta to boiling water.
    Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bring water to a boil in a pot. Add onion soup mix and pasta to the boiling water.
  • Cook until tender and do not drain.
    Step 2
    Cook until tender. DO NOT drain.
  • Brown ground beef in a large skillet.
    Step 3
    In a large skillet, brown meat.
  • Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, basil, and parsley.
    Step 4
    Stir in tomato sauce, tomato paste, parsley, and basil.
  • Add spaghetti and heat through.
    Step 5
    Add pasta with the liquid. Heat through.
  • Pour into a casserole dish.
