spaghetti bake
(1 RATING)
I have been making this for over 20 years and have taken it to many potlucks. I always get requests for this recipe. Kids love it too!!! Just a note--if you like a stronger onion flavor use the green onions. If you don't want a stronger onion flavor use the dried chives.

- (2) 8 ounces tomato sauce

How To Make spaghetti bake
-
Step 1Place butter in a skillet. Then add minced garlic, sugar, salt & pepper. Mash together. Turn heat on to med. high, add meat and brown. Add tomato sauce and simmer on med. low heat uncovered for 20 minutes.
-
Step 2While the sauce is simmering, cook the noodles according to package directions. (Use whatever noodle your family likes. Thin, angel hair, reg. spaghetti. I've even used egg noodles.)
-
Step 3Combine cream cheese, sour cream, green onions or chives and half of the cheddar cheese.
-
Step 4Place cooked noodles in a 9X13 pan. Top with cream cheese mixture, then the meat sauce, then the rest of the grated cheddar.
-
Step 5Bake uncovered for 30 minutes on 350.
