I have been making this for over 20 years and have taken it to many potlucks. I always get requests for this recipe. Kids love it too!!! Just a note--if you like a stronger onion flavor use the green onions. If you don't want a stronger onion flavor use the dried chives.

How To Make spaghetti bake

  • 1
Place butter in a skillet. Then add minced garlic, sugar, salt & pepper. Mash together. Turn heat on to med. high, add meat and brown. Add tomato sauce and simmer on med. low heat uncovered for 20 minutes.

While the sauce is simmering, cook the noodles according to package directions. (Use whatever noodle your family likes. Thin, angel hair, reg. spaghetti. I've even used egg noodles.)

Combine cream cheese, sour cream, green onions or chives and half of the cheddar cheese.
  • 4
Place cooked noodles in a 9X13 pan. Top with cream cheese mixture, then the meat sauce, then the rest of the grated cheddar.
