Spaghetti Bake

This was so quick & easy. My kids loved it so much, it was gone before I could take a picture. We will be for sure making this again soon. Enjoy!

1 lb
ground beef
1 pkg
spaghetti (16 oz)
1 small
onion, diced
1 large
jar of spaghetti sauce (32 oz) meatless
2 large
1/3 c
parmesan cheese
4 Tbsp
butter, melted
2 c
cottage cheese, small curd (optional)
2-4 c
mozzarella cheese, low-fat


1Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, brown beef and onion; drain. Stir in the spaghetti sauce; set aside.
2In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, Parmesan cheese and butter. Drain spaghetti; add to egg mixture and toss to coat.
3Place half of the spaghetti mixture in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish. Top with half of the (cottage cheese), meat sauce and mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover; bake 15-20 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. (times may vary with your oven).
4* Note: if you use cottage cheese you will want to add 5-10 minutes on your baking time.
