This was so quick & easy. My kids loved it so much, it was gone before I could take a picture. We will be for sure making this again soon. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 package spaghetti (16 oz)
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 large jar of spaghetti sauce (32 oz) meatless
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 cups cottage cheese, small curd (optional)
  • 2-4 cups mozzarella cheese, low-fat

How To Make spaghetti bake

  • Step 1
    Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, brown beef and onion; drain. Stir in the spaghetti sauce; set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, Parmesan cheese and butter. Drain spaghetti; add to egg mixture and toss to coat.
  • Step 3
    Place half of the spaghetti mixture in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish. Top with half of the (cottage cheese), meat sauce and mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover; bake 15-20 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. (times may vary with your oven).
  • Step 4
    * Note: if you use cottage cheese you will want to add 5-10 minutes on your baking time.
