Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound italian sausage or spicy bulk sausage
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 - garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 package mushrooms, freshly chopped
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1 can tomatoes, 28 ounces, with liquid, cut up
  • 1 - bay leaf
  • 1 can tomato paste, 6 ounces
  • 1 pound spaghetti, uncooked

How To Make spaghetti and meat sauce

  • Step 1
    In dutch oven, cook beef, sausage, onion and garlic.
  • Step 2
    Drain.
  • Step 3
    Add next 7 ingredients.
  • Step 4
    Simmer 30 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Prepare spaghetti according to package instructions.
