spaghetti and crabmeat

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1.5 cups onion, chopped
  • 2 - garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 1 pound crabmeat, fresh
  • 14 ounces tomatoes
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup sherry, spanish
  • - parmesan cheese, grated

How To Make spaghetti and crabmeat

  • Step 1
    Saute onion, celery, garlic and parsley in oil until golden brown.
  • Step 2
    Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, water and seasoning.
  • Step 3
    Simmer over low heat for at least 1 hour.
  • Step 4
    If longer simmering time (2-3 hours) is desired, add water to maintain desired consistency.
  • Step 5
    Add crabmeat and sherry and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Step 6
    Cook and drain angel hair pasta (do not wash or rinse) and add to sauce.
  • Step 7
    Place on serving platter and top with generous amount of fresh parmesan chese.
