  • 1/4 c
    olive oil
  • 1.5 c
    onion, chopped
  • 2
    garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 c
    parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    celery, chopped
  • 1 tsp
  • 2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1.5 c
  • 1 lb
    crabmeat, fresh
  • 14 oz
  • 1 c
    tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c
    sherry, spanish
  • ·
    parmesan cheese, grated

How to Make Spaghetti and Crabmeat


  1. Saute onion, celery, garlic and parsley in oil until golden brown.
  2. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, water and seasoning.
  3. Simmer over low heat for at least 1 hour.
  4. If longer simmering time (2-3 hours) is desired, add water to maintain desired consistency.
  5. Add crabmeat and sherry and simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Cook and drain angel hair pasta (do not wash or rinse) and add to sauce.
  7. Place on serving platter and top with generous amount of fresh parmesan chese.
