Ingredients
- 1 large onion -- chopped
- 1 large bell pepper -- chopped
- 2 teaspoons garlic -- minced
- 2 (4 oz) cans mushrooms -- drained
- 1 can rotel
- 1 jar ragu spaghetti sauce
- 1 cup tomato juice
- 1 pound ground chuck
- 1 pound ground sausage
- 1 medium bag of elbow noodles
How To Make southern goulash

Step 1Prepare the noodles according to the package instructions.

Step 2Saute the hamburger meat/saugage, onion, bell pepper, garlic, mushrooms in a skillet until the meat is brown.

Step 3Drain the fat off. Add Ragu and Rotel to the meat. Bring to a boil then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 10 min.

Step 4In a large pot, combine the noodles & meat mixture. Allow this to simmer for about 20 minutes. You may need a cup of tomato juice if it's too dry.
