this is a great meal we have it from time to time i serve it with a nice tossed salad and garlic bread

italian pork sausage
1 large
onion, chopped
1 small
green bell pepper, chopped
2 tsp
finely chopped fresh garlic
2 jar(s)
(24 oz) pasta sauce


15 oz
container ricotta cheese
3/4 c
grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp
italian seasoning
1/2 tsp
1 pkg
(16 oz) fresh spinach leaves, chopped
no stick lasagna noodles
12 oz
land of lakes deli 4 cheese italian cheese

How to Make Slow Cooker Lasagna


  • 1generously spray 6 quart slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray, set aside.
  • 2combine italian sausage, onion, green pepper and garlic in 12 inch skillet, cook over medium high heat, stirring occasionally, until sausage is cooked through (6-10 minutes). drain if necessary. add pasta and mix well.
  • 3combine all filling ingredients in medium bowl until well mixed.
  • 4spoon 1/4 meat mixture (about 2 cups) into prepared slow cooker, top with 3 lasagna noodles (break to fit).
  • 5spread with 1/4 cheese filling (about 3/4 cup), top with 3 cheese slices. repeat layers 2 more times. top with remaining noodles, remaining filling and meat mixture.
  • 6cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high heat for 2-4 hours, or until noodles are tender.
  • 7top with remaining 3 cheese slices. let stand until cheese is melted. cut lasagna into pieces or wedges.
