Ingredients
- 1 pound italian pork sausage
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 small green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh garlic
- 2 jars (24 oz) pasta sauce
- FOR THE FILLING:
- 15 ounces container ricotta cheese
- 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 package (16 oz) fresh spinach leaves, chopped
- 12 - no stick lasagna noodles
- 12 ounces land of lakes deli 4 cheese italian cheese
How To Make slow cooker lasagna

Step 1generously spray 6 quart slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray, set aside.

Step 2combine italian sausage, onion, green pepper and garlic in 12 inch skillet, cook over medium high heat, stirring occasionally, until sausage is cooked through (6-10 minutes). drain if necessary. add pasta and mix well.

Step 3combine all filling ingredients in medium bowl until well mixed.

Step 4spoon 1/4 meat mixture (about 2 cups) into prepared slow cooker, top with 3 lasagna noodles (break to fit).

Step 5spread with 1/4 cheese filling (about 3/4 cup), top with 3 cheese slices. repeat layers 2 more times. top with remaining noodles, remaining filling and meat mixture.

Step 6cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high heat for 2-4 hours, or until noodles are tender.

Step 7top with remaining 3 cheese slices. let stand until cheese is melted. cut lasagna into pieces or wedges.
