Ingredients

- 8 ounces extra lean ground beef
- 1 - carrot
- 1 - onion
- 1 - green pepper
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 6 ounces tomato paste
- 12 ounces water
- 1 pound ziti
How To Make sloppy ziti

Step 1Salt and pepper and brown the beef then drain off fat in a sieve.

Step 2Put vegetables in a food processor, process until finely chopped and add to meat in a medium saucepan.

Step 3Saute, covered, over low heat until vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.

Step 4Add chili powder, tomato paste and water, and simmer about 10 minutes.

Step 5Add salt and pepper to taste.

Step 6Cook ziti until it is cooked al dente.

Step 7Drain ziti and mix well with sauce.
