This is a wonderful recipe, the flavors are so good together. Sometimes I add more onion and garlic than it calls for :)

  • 1/2 lb
    italian sausage, mild, sliced
  • 1 medium
    onion, chopped
  • 1 large
    garlic clove, minced
  • 2 can(s)
    italian style chopped tomatoes
  • 1 can(s)
    tomato sauce
  • 1 c
  • 8 oz
    rigatoni or spiral pasta-uncooked
  • 1 can(s)
    olives, sliced
  • 1 or 2 Tbsp
    italian seasoning
  • ·
    parmesan cheese & parsley to put on top

How to Make Skillet Pasta Roma


  1. In large skillet brown sausage, add garlic and onion and cook til onion is soft.
  2. Stir in rest of ingredients except the parmesan cheese and parsley.
  3. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Garnish with parmesan cheese and parsley.
