onion, chopped

tomatoes, canned
1/2 c
celery, chopped
1/2 c
1 1/2 tsp
1/4 tsp
1/8 tsp
basil leaves
1 1/2 c
small elbow macaroni (uncooked or par boiled)
1 can(s)
sweet whole kernel corn

How to Make Skillet Goulash


  • 1Cook and stir the meat and the onion in a large skillet until the meat is brown.
  • 2Drain off the excess fat.
  • 3Stir in the tomatoes (with the liquid) and remaining ingredients, stirring to break up the tomatoes.
  • 4Heat to boiling, then reduce the heat and simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, until the noodles are tender, about 20 minutes.
  • 5A small amount of water can be added if necessary.
  • 6Serve hot.
