Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cans (8 ounces each) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 package macaroni
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

How To Make skillet beef and macaroni

  • Step 1
    In a large skillet, cook beef and onion until the meat is no longer pink and onion is tender; drain. Stir in the remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.
  • Step 2
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until macaroni is tender, stirring occasionally. Add additional water if needed.
  • Step 3
    *TIP*: Corn bread is a perfect complement to this tasty dish. Make either a pan of corn bread or corn muffins from a mix.
