This is a simple yet nice little recipe that is another in the comfort series. Kid friendly. Make in a skillet, or move to a pan to keep warm for later. This is adaptable.

How to Make Skillet Beef and Cheesy Pasta

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large saute pan, start browning the meat. Add the onions, garlic and pepper. Wait on the salt until the end and test for how much salt you need.
  2. In a large pot, bring water to boil and cook the pasta until done. (about 2 cups dried)
  3. When beef is done and onions are nearly so, add the tomatoes. Break up tomatoes and simmer on low. Check for salt. Add the drained pasta, and mix in. Then add the cheese if using.
  4. Serve immediately over taco chips or alone, or place in a casserole dish and place in a 220 oven to hold.
