Ingredients

  • 12 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 5 ounces parmesan cheese, grated (more if desired)
  • - salt (to taste)
  • - white pepper (to taste)

How To Make simple & tasty fettuccine alfredo

  • Step 1
    Prepare fettuccine according to package directions.
  • Step 2
    In a small sauce pan slowly warm heavy cream and butter until butter is melted.
  • Step 3
    Once butter has melted gradually stir in the cheese, stirring constantly. Be careful not to add too much cheese at once to prevent clumping.
  • Step 4
    Stir salt and pepper into sauce, and toss with cooked pasta. Serve hot.
