shrimp with roasted red pepper sauce
I got this recipe many year ago from a Taste of Home demonstration. It is quick and easy and tastes wonderful.

Ingredients
- 7 ounces pasta, bow-tie or ribbed
- 12 ounces jar roasted red peppers
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 pounds shrimp, cooked peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil or 1 tbs dried
How To Make shrimp with roasted red pepper sauce

Step 1Prepare pasta according to directions. Do no salt or use oil

Step 2Drain roasted peppers. Place peppers, cream cheese, broth, garlic and cayenne pepper in a blender or food processor. Process till smooth.

Step 3Pour the mixture into large skillet. Heat for 5 minutes stirring often until heated through. Add the shrimp and heat 2-3 minutes stirring occasionally. Add the pasta and garnish with the basil. (Do not overheat the shrimp.)
