Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    spaghetti
  • 2/3 c
    vegetable oil
  • 2 medium
    onions, chopped
  • 1/2 medium
    green bell pepper, chopped
  • 3 clove
    garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp
    sugar
  • 1 can(s)
    tomato paste
  • 1 can(s)
    tomato sauce
  • 2 c
    raw shrimp, peeled & devained
  • 6 c
    water, boiling
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste
  • ·
    parsley flakes for garnish

How to Make Shrimp Spaghetti

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large pot heat oil and saute onions, bell pepper & garlic until wilted.
  2. Add tomato paste, tomato sauce, sugar, pepper flakes salt and pepper. Cook 15-20 minutes.
  3. Add shrimp and stir.
  4. Add boiling water and uncooked spaghetti to the tomato mixture. Cook for 12 minutes.
  5. Turn off heat and let sit for 5 minutes.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
