Ingredients For shrimp scampi with tomatoes

1 lbraw shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 Tbspbutter

2 Tbspextra-virgin olive oil

5 - 6 clovegarlic, chopped

2 TbspMrs. Dash Garlic & Herb seasoning

1/4 cdry white wine
-
1/2 cfresh italian parsley, chopped

1 canplum tomatoes in juice (28 oz)

1/4 cfresh basil, chopped
-
1 lbpasta of choice, cooked al dente
-
Parmesan or Romano cheese, grated (optional)
How To Make shrimp scampi with tomatoes

1In a large skillet, over medium-high heat. Melt butter and add olive oil.

2To the hot skillet, add garlic, Mrs. Dash seasoning, and shrimp. Saute until shrimp is almost cooked through.

3Add parsley and wine.

4Take tomatoes out of the can and crush with your hands into the pan, using very little of the juice from the can.

5Continue to cook until tomatoes are heated through.

6Toss in the basil and serve over hot pasta. Top with Romano or Parmesan cheese if desired.
