Shrimp scampi is a personal favorite. However, I decided to get a little creative & create my own garlic sauce. Of course, I had to taste test it as any normal chef should & it was delicious! I hope you all think the same cuz my family sure did!

Ingredients

  • (1) 12 oz. bags pre-cooked, peeled, tail-on shrimp
  • 1 package linguine, cooked & drained
  • FOR GARLIC SAUCE
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • - garlic powder, onion powder, salt & pepper to your liking

How To Make shrimp scampi

  • Step 1
    Thaw shrimp in cold running water for 5-7 mins.
  • Step 2
    Make sure pasta is thoroughly cooked & drained.
  • Step 3
    To make Garlic Sauce: Mix milk, butter, minced garlic, salt, pepper, garlic powder & onion powder together & boil for approx. 5 mins until it thickens a little.
  • Step 4
    Put pasta back in its pot. Mix in the shrimp.
  • Step 5
    Carefully pour garlic sauce over pasta & shrimp. Top with Italian seasoning to garnish. Enjoy!
