- 2 tablespoons garlic, chopped
- 1/2 cup lemon juice, fresh
- 1/2 cup white wine

How To Make shrimp scampi
-
Step 1Season the shrimp thoroghly with salt & pepper.
-
Step 2Heat large saute pan over medium-high heat. When the pan is hot, add enough oil to lightly coat the pan. Add the shrimp & quickly saute until just starting to turn pink, but not cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the pan & set aside.
-
Step 3Add the onions & saute just until they begin to soften, about 3 minutes. Add the garlic & cook another 30 seconds. Add the lemon juice, wine, stock & reduce by 2/3, aboout 5 minutes.
-
Step 4Add the shrimp bak to the pan & swirl in the butter. Finish with the parsley & check for seasoning.
-
Step 5Garnish with lemon slices & serve over rice or angel hair pasta (which is my favorite).
