Ingredients
- 3 - tomatoes, peeled and diced or
- 2 cans diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup onions, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
- 1 pound shrimp, cooked, peeled and deveined
- 1/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1/3 cup tomato paste
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1-2 clove garlic, minced
- 1 pound fresh asparagus, cut into 2-3 inch spears
- 1 pound dry fettuccine
How To Make shrimp primavera

Step 1In medium saucepan, combine tomatoes, mushrooms, water, tomato paste, onion, parsley, basil, sugar, salt, pepper and garlic.

Step 2Boil gently, uncovered about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 3Add the shrimp, heat through.

Step 4Meanwhile, boil the noodles according to package directions. Add the asparagus for the last 3 minutes of cooking, drain.

Step 5Toss pasta and sauce together and serve. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
