This shrimp and pasta dish is a little more on the lighter side of the calorie/fat scale but doesn't disappoint on taste! Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces linguine, uncooked
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon seafood seasoning
  • 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups half and half
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

How To Make shrimp pasta

  • Step 1
    Cook linguine according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook onions and garlic in butter for 1 minute. Stir in seafood seasoning; cook 1 minute longer. Add shrimp; cook for 3-4 mintues until shrimp are pink. Remove and keep warm.
  • Step 2
    Combine flour and cream util smooth; stir into skillet, scarping up any browned bits. Bring to a gentle boil and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Reduce heat; stir in cheese until just melted. Return shrimp to the pan and heat through.
  • Step 3
    Drain pasta. Either combine shrimp mixture with pasta OR top pasta with shrimp mixture.
