A delicious shrimp dish I threw together a few years ago using uncooked shrimp that I sauteed in butter, before adding to noodles. Today, I found that pre cooked works great as well. It's a rich dish, but oh so tasty and easy to put together. Enjoy

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds shrimp, peeled and deveined or i also use precooked- tails removed
  • 4 ounces softened, cream cheese
  • 9 - 10 - ounces, linguine or fav pasta, cooked and drained
  • salt - and pepper
  • 1/2 cup each - sour cream and cream
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 - 10- 3/4 ounce cream of mushrrom soup or cream of shrimp - i like the mushroom better
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped and dry sherry
  • squirt - dijon mustard
  • a pinch - or two of nutmeg
  • 1 cup 8 ounces - shredded cheddar cheese
  • sprinkle - paprika

How To Make ~ shrimp linguine supreme ~

  • Step 1
    Combine the cream cheese with the hot noodles. Spray a 9 x 12 baking dish or 4 quart casserole with non stick cook spray or grease the dish.
  • Step 2
    Spread the noodles evenly into prepared dish.
  • Step 3
    If using uncooked shrimp - cook in some butter in a large skillet over med heat until turn pink. Salt and pepper and spread shrimp over the noodles.
  • Step 4
    Preheat oven to 325 degree F. In a medium bowl, mix the soup, cream, nutmeg, sour cream, sherry, mayonnaise, green onion, parsley and mustard together until well combined.
  • Step 5
    Spread the creamy mixture evenly over the shrimp.
  • Step 6
    Top with cheese and sprinkle with paprika. Bake for 30 - 45 minutes or until cheese is melted and dish is bubbling.
  • Step 7
    You can garnish with lemon slices and more paprika if desired.
