I like to make pasta dishes with other ingredients rather than the usual tomato sauces.

uncooked bow tie pasta`
1/2 c
chopped shallots .
3 c
garlic, minced
2 Tbsp
1 Tbsp
olive oil
2 c
fresh broccoli florets
1/2 c
diced red peppers
8 oz
raw medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 c
grated parmesan cheese

How to Make Shrimp, broccoli Pasta Toss


  • 1Cook pasta according to package directions....
  • 2While the pasta is cooking,,add the oil and butter in a wok or large skillet,add the onions and garlic and saute for 3 to 5 minutes , add the broccoli and peppers and cook over medium heat til vegies are tender 5 minutes,,add shrimp and cook until the shrimp turns not overcook as the shrimp will be chewy.
  • 3Drain the pasta return to pot and toss with the shrimp mix..sprinkle with the cheese.
