This is a seafood version of the more traditional turkey tetrazzini. Not as budget-friendly, but delicious!

16 ozpackage thin spaghetti, broken

4 cwater
-
1 lbfresh shrimp, unpeeled

6 ozjar sliced mushrooms, undrained

3/4 conion, chopped

3/4 cgreen bell pepper, chopped

1/2 cbutter, melted
-
1/2 call-purpose flour
-
2 tspsalt
-
1/4 tspblack pepper

4 cmilk
-
1 1/2 ccheddar cheese, shredded (6 ounces)

1 tsplemon juice
-
1 tspprepared mustard
-
1/2 tspWorcestershire sauce

1 lblobster meat, cooked, cut into 1/2 inch pieces

1 lbfresh crab meat, drained and flaked
-
1/2 cParmesan cheese, grated
How To Make seafood tetrazzini

1Cook the spaghetti according to the package directions. Drain well and set aside.

2Bring the water to a boil. Add the shrimp and cook for 3 to 5 minutes. Drain well; rinse with cold water. Chill. Peel and devein shrimp. Set aside.

3Drain the sliced mushrooms, reserving the liquid. Set the mushrooms and liquid aside.

4Saute the onion and green pepper in melted butter in a Dutch oven until tender. Add the reserved mushrooms, flour, salt, and pepper; cook one minute, stirring constantly.

5Gradually add the reserved mushroom liquid and milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is thickened and bubbly.

6Add the cheddar cheese and the next three ingredients; stir until the cheese melts.

7Add the reserved spaghetti, lobster, crabmeat, and reserved shrimp; cook over low heat until thoroughly heated.

8Pour the mixture into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese; broil 6 inches from heat for 3 minutes or until lightly browned.
