Quick and easy pasta salad. I prefer to use the vegetable rotini as it gives the dish more color. I prefer this pasta salad cold but can be eaten hot. I have also listed a healthier version is to use Italian salad dressing place of the Miracle Whip.

prep time 15 Min
cook time 15 Min
method Stove Top
yield 4-6 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 1 package rotini pasta (16 oz. pkg)
  • 1 package peas, frozen (16 oz. pkg)
  • 1 pound imitation crabmeat
  • 1/2 jar miracle whip

How To Make seafood pasta salad

  • Step 1
Cook pasta according to package directions. The last few minutes of cooking the pasta add the peas and finish cooking.
  • Step 2
When done cooking, drain and rinse with cold water. Let the mixture cool for approximately an hour, unless you prefer your pasta dish hot.
  • Step 3
Cut the imitation crab into bite size chunks. After the pasta has cooled add the artificial crab and mix with Miracle Whip. As as much Miracle Whip as you like.
  • Step 4
A lighter alternative is to use Italian salad dressing instead of Miracle Whip.
