  • 1 package onion soup mix
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 - egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 32 ounces spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 package spaghetti, uncooked

How To Make savory spaghetti and meatballs

  • Step 1
    Combine soup mix and milk; let stand 5 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Add ground beef and egg to soup mixture; stir until mixed well.
  • Step 3
    Shape into 1-1/2-inch balls.
  • Step 4
    In large skillet brown meatballs in hot oil; drain.
  • Step 5
    Return meatballs to skillet.
  • Step 6
    Stir in spaghetti sauce; bring to a boil.
  • Step 7
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer over medium heat 15 minutes.
  • Step 8
    While sauce is simmering, cook spaghetti as package directs, omitting salt; drain.
