This recipe is my back up when people come for dinner with out notice. I always have 10 02 12 containers of sauce made in the freezer

salt and pepper to taste
6 Tbsp
minced fresh sweet basil
3 Tbsp
fresh parsley
4 Tbsp
fresh thyme
1 c
parmesan cheese
2 c
shredded mozzarella cheese
1 1/2 lb
sausage caseing removed cooked and crumbled
1 large
onion chopped large cuts
2 large
bell peppers chopped large
you own great tomato sauce


1In a sauce pan, add the oil, onions, peppers, and sausage and cook until tender. Add the tomato sauce and spices, and simmer at low heat until all ingredients are cooked . Place the sausage and sauce over the pasta, and mix well. Then add the parmesan cheese and the mozzarella cheese Mixing the cheeses in well. Place the pasta mix in a casserole and bake at 350 decrease for 7 minutes . top with extra parmesan cheese if you like.
