    salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 Tbsp
    minced fresh sweet basil
  • 3 Tbsp
    fresh parsley
  • 4 Tbsp
    fresh thyme
  • 1 c
    parmesan cheese
  • 2 c
    shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 1/2 lb
    sausage caseing removed cooked and crumbled
  • 1 large
    onion chopped large cuts
  • 2 large
    bell peppers chopped large
  • ·
    you own great tomato sauce

How to Make Sausage & Penne Pasta


  1. In a sauce pan, add the oil, onions, peppers, and sausage and cook until tender. Add the tomato sauce and spices, and simmer at low heat until all ingredients are cooked . Place the sausage and sauce over the pasta, and mix well. Then add the parmesan cheese and the mozzarella cheese Mixing the cheeses in well. Place the pasta mix in a casserole and bake at 350 decrease for 7 minutes . top with extra parmesan cheese if you like.
