Ingredients
- 1 package cheese smoky links, cut into pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 28 ounces can crushed tomatoes
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 sprig rosemary
- 1 stalk thyme
- 2 cups chicken stock
- salt and pepper
- 10 ounces ditalini pasta
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
How To Make sausage pasta

Step 1Place the olive oil in a large pot. Add the cut-up sausage and cook until browned. Remove to a plate.

Step 2Add the onion and garlic. Cook 2 minutes. Add the tomato paste and stir to combine. Add the chicken stock and crushed tomatoes.

Step 3Throw in the bay leave and sprigs. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer and simmer 20 minutes.

Step 4Meanwhile, cook the pasta in salted water. Drain and add to the tomato mixture.

Step 5Add the sausage back and remove the bay leaves and sprigs. Stir in the cheese.
