Ingredients
- 1 pound bulk pork sausage
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 3 cups (24 ounces) 4% cottage cheese or ricotta cheese
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1-2 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon each garlic powder, pepper, dried basil and oregano
- 9 uncooked lasagna noodles
- 3 cups (12 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese
How To Make sausage lasagna

Step 1In a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink, drain.

Step 2Stir in the spaghetti sauce and water. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.

Step 3In a large bowl, combine the eggs, cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, parsley and seasonings.

Step 4Spread 1/2 cup meat sauce into a greased 9 X 13 inch baking dish. Layer with 3 noodles and a 1/3 of the cheese mixture, meat sauce and mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers twice.

Step 5Cover and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Uncover; and bake 10 minutes longer. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving,
