Ingredients

  • 1 pound lb
    italian sausage
  • 3 c
    chicken broth
  • 2
    apples, golden delicious
  • 1 c
    dried cherries
  • 1/4 c
    parsley flakes
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 Tbsp
    sage, dried
  • 2 stick
    celery
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 stick
    butter, softened
  • 16 oz
    stuffing mix, herb-seasoned

How to Make Sausage cherry/apple dressing

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Dice onion very small cook with sausage till there is no pink
  3. When finished put the sausage and drippings in a large bowl with the stuffing cubes
  4. Bass up real small apples onions celery fry for 5 minutes until softened
  5. Put everything in a pot with the chicken broth and bring to a boil turn off the heat add the parsley and the cherries then put in the rest of the ingredients
  6. Add the two beaten eggs gently mix and put in a 3 quart casserole dish bake at 350 for 1 hour
