My family,even the Grandchidren like the Skillet Spaghetti better than regular com all day spaghetti. Try it you'll like it and it is very easy.

Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

1 lb
groud beef
3 c
water
2 can(s)
tomato paste (11- 1/4 oz each)
2 Tbsp
dried minced onion
1-2 Tbsp
chili powder (i use 1 t.)
1-1/2 tsp
dried oregano
1 tsp
sugar (i omit)
1 tsp
salt
1 tsp
garlic salt
1 pkg
7 oz dried spaghetti (i use wheat)
grated parmesan cheese ( fresh is best)

How to Make Sara's Skillet Spaghetti

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a large skillet cook Ground beef. Drain.( I put in a sieve and run hot water over it to remove all the grease.)
  • 2Add next 8 ingredients. Bring to a boil.
  • 3Add uncooked pasta. Turn heat down.
  • 4Cover and simmer or 30 min. Or until spaghetti is tender, stirring frequently.
  • 5When done remove to a dish and sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese.
