Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound italian sausage (hot or mild)
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 3-4 cloves garlic
- 1 package frozen spinach, thawed, drained
- 1 1/2 tablespoons basil
- 2 tablespoons parsley
- 1 package manicotti noodles, prepared as directed
- 2-3 cups shredded mozerella (as much as desired)
- 1 cup mushrooms, diced
- 4 ounces shredded parmesan cheese
- 2 jars spaghetti sauce (any kind)
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make sarah's manicotti

Step 1Brown both meats and drain. Empty meats into large bowl. Add: cottage cheese, garlic, spinach, mushrooms, parsley, basil, salt & pepper & 1 handful of each cheese. Mix together well.

Step 2Drain pasta; cut slit in one end or stuff pasta whole. Pour 1/2 jar spaghetti sauce over bottom of 9x13 baking dish.

Step 3Place stuffed pasta shells over top of sauce. Top with left over stuffing mixture then pour sauce on top and add the remaining cheeses. Bake at 350 for 30 mins.
