This is My Family's favorite! This Recipe has been passed down for generations. We all Tweak it a bit different.Here is my version. I hope your Family loves it as much as mine!

1 lb pkg
egg noodles
8oz pkg
cream cheese
1/2 large
sour cream
1/4 stick
butter, room temperature
1/4 tsp
fresh grated nutmeg
1 tsp
salt or to taste
1/4 tsp
pepper to taste
1/2 c
golden raisins (optional)
1/2 c
sugar hold a few spoonfuls out for the top

How to Make Robin's Noodle Kugel


  • 1Preheat over to 350
    cook egg noodles according to package, then drain.
  • 2While noodles are cooking, in a mixer place soften cream cheese & beat till smooth add sugar & eggs salt, pepper, nutmeg ,1/2 cup golden raisins, mix well.
  • 3I use a glass casserole or lasagna pan, spray or butter the bottom & sides.

    Add cream cheese mixture to the hot noodles & mix well, pour into your buttered pan. grade more fresh nutmeg on the top along with the reserved sugar, dab with butter.
  • 4Bake for 45 mins or until the top has started to brown & The kugel is set.
    Let rest for 5-10 mins before cutting into squares.
