This is My Family's favorite! This Recipe has been passed down for generations. We all Tweak it a bit different.Here is my version. I hope your Family loves it as much as mine! Robin

Ingredients For robin's noodle kugel

  • 1 lb pkg
    egg noodles
  • 8oz pkg
    cream cheese
  • 1/2 lg
    sour cream
  • 4
    eggs
  • 1/4 stick
    butter, room temperature
  • 1/4 tsp
    fresh grated nutmeg
  • 1 tsp
    salt or to taste
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c
    golden raisins (optional)
  • 1/2 c
    sugar hold a few spoonfuls out for the top

How To Make robin's noodle kugel

    Preheat over to 350 cook egg noodles according to package, then drain.

    While noodles are cooking, in a mixer place soften cream cheese & beat till smooth add sugar & eggs salt, pepper, nutmeg ,1/2 cup golden raisins, mix well.

    I use a glass casserole or lasagna pan, spray or butter the bottom & sides. Add cream cheese mixture to the hot noodles & mix well, pour into your buttered pan. grade more fresh nutmeg on the top along with the reserved sugar, dab with butter.

    Bake for 45 mins or until the top has started to brown & The kugel is set. Let rest for 5-10 mins before cutting into squares.
