I made up this recipe when I wanted a really good meat sauce for pasta, but couldn't get to my favorite italian restaurant.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds lean ground beef or ground bison
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 10 ounces baby portebello mushrooms, sliced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cans crushed tomatoes (28 oz. each can)
- 1 can tomato paste (12 oz.)
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 teaspoons italian seasoning
- 1/8 teaspoon celery salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
How To Make robin's marvelous meat sauce for pasta

Step 1Heat olive oil in a large pot (on medium high), brown the ground beef (drain off fat if necessary). Add the minced garlic and all other herbs & seasonings to the pot. Continue to cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes.

Step 2Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, balsamic vinegar, and water & stir well. Turn the heat to low & simmer for about 1 hour. Stir as needed. Serve over your choice of pasta noodles.
