Roasted Tomato Sauce
This is great as a topping with pasta or with pork or chicken.
- 1 qt
- cherry tomatoes (the more colorful the better)
- 1 medium
- onions, yellow, medium thinly sliced (more can be used)
- 4 clove
- garlic +/-
- olive oil drizzled
- oregano, fresh chopped
- basil, fresh chopped
How to Make Roasted Tomato Sauce
- 1Wash tomatoes and slice in half. Place in the bottom of an oven safe pan. Add the onion slices and garlic, Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Drizzle with Olive oil.
- 2Bake at 350 degrees until tomatoes are brown and bubbly, and the garlic is soft. Add Basil and Oregano bake for another 5 minutes.
