This is our quick picatta go-to for seafood or meat...we love lemon and take advantage of inexpensive jars of capers from import stores!

1/2 box
angel hair pasta
8 oz
fake crab/lobster
2 Tbsp
2 Tbsp
3/4 stick
1/2 tsp
garlic powder
3/4 c
lemon juice
1/4 c
water from cooking pasta
1/2 c
cooked veggies (we like carrots lightly cooked in the microwave)

How to Make Quick Seafood Picatta


  • 1cook angel hair to desired consistency in salty water, saving a bit of the starchy water for the sauce
  • 2over fairly high heat, melt butter and lightly cook the flour (2-3 minutes), add lemon juice and the rest of the ingredients....adjust looseness of the sauce by adding pasta water
  • 3toss sauce with drained pasta and serve!
