poor mans strogonoff

hubby had been havin heartburn alot so we wanted to get away from tomatoes in so many meals i came up with this this is a tip i got while workin in group homes bout 20 yrs ago i'm sure it still works today..buy more fat ground beef[like ground chuck] cook til no pink left put in drainer first drain well then rinse in hot tap water [add some spices here like onion powdwe or garlic powder,thyme drain well again at first it tasted kindda bland but have learned to use spices to flavor it that is what i did here

Ingredients
- 1/2 box [1 pound] yur fav pasta, cooked well
- 1 pound ground chuck... see notes...or can use ground turkey
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder,onion powder,fresh ground pepper,soul seasoning
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
- 1 can sliced mushrooms
- 8 ounces light sour cream
- - handful fresh chives,snipped
How To Make poor mans strogonoff

Step 1cook posta by box direction drain well

Step 2in lg fry pan cook ground beef drain well once it is done rinse well drain again return to fry pain add spices[in amounts u like]

Step 3add mushroom soup stir well simmer bout 10 min

Step 4add mushrooms and sour cream heat til hot but do not boil.... add pasta stir well

Step 5snip chives on top serve and enjoy
