polish sauerkraut casserole

This is a recipe my neighbor shared with me. It is delish!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups uncooked penne pasta
  • 1 1/2 pounds smoked polish sausage cut in 1/2
  • 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 16 ounces can or jar sauerkraut, rinsed and drained well
  • 3 cups swiss or cheddar cheese, shredded (i use combo of both)
  • 1 1/2 cups 2% milk
  • 4 - green onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 4 - cloves garlic, minced

How To Make polish sauerkraut casserole

  • Step 1
    Cook pasta according to package directions, drain and transfer to a large bowl. Stir in all other ingredients
  • Step 2
    Spoon into a greased 9x13 pan, or large casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes
  • Step 3
    Enjoy!
