Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    rigatoni pasta, uncooked
  • 2 jar(s)
    tomato sauce (or marinara sauce)
  • 1 Tbsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 lb
    italian sausage (remove the casing)
  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 1
    green pepper, chopped
  • 1-2 c
    mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 c
    mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ·
    sliced pepperoni

How to Make Pizza Pasta (Crock Pot Style)

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown beef, then drain and set aside. Repeat with sausage, breaking it into bite-size pieces.
  2. Mix sauce, dry pasta, and oregano together until pasta is well coated.
  3. Spray the inside of a large crock pot with cooking spray. Alternate layers of each ingredient, using half of each at a time. (So, you will end up with two layers of each.) Layer in this order: pasta, beef, sausage, onions, peppers, mushrooms, cheese.
  4. Top pepperoni then sprinkle with more oregano. Cook on low for apx 6 hours.
