penne with sausage tomato cream sauce
This was one of my mom's favorite dishes. So yummy!

Ingredients
- 1 lb - hot italian sausage/can also use mild
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1/2 - green pepper chopped
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 can rotel tomatos
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup half and half
- 1 package shredded italian 4 cheese
- 3/4 box penne pasta
How To Make penne with sausage tomato cream sauce

Step 1cook pasta drain and set aside....Remove sausage from casing and fry breaking it up. When done remove from pan and drain off fat.

Step 2In same pan add a little Oil (EVOO) saute onion, peppers and garlic. Then return sausage and add flour frying a little.

Step 3Add water, half and half and rotel tomatoes. Stir until it starts to thicken. Add pasta and stir together. You don't want it to thick may have to add more water.

Step 4grease a casserole dish, put half of the pasta in dish add half of the cheese. Then add other other half of pasta and cheese on top. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 30 minutes
