Penne with sausage tomato cream sauce
1 lbhot italian sausage/can also use mild
1 smallonion chopped
1/2green pepper chopped
1 can(s)rotel tomatos
1/2 chalf and half
1 pkgshredded italian 4 cheese
3/4 boxpenne pasta
How to Make Penne with sausage tomato cream sauce
- cook pasta drain and set aside....Remove sausage from casing and fry breaking it up. When done remove from pan and drain off fat.
- In same pan add a little Oil (EVOO) saute onion, peppers and garlic. Then return sausage and add flour frying a little.
- Add water, half and half and rotel tomatoes. Stir until it starts to thicken. Add pasta and stir together. You don't want it to thick may have to add more water.
- grease a casserole dish, put half of the pasta in dish add half of the cheese. Then add other other half of pasta and cheese on top. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 30 minutes
