Ingredients
- 1 pound penne pasta cooked al dente
- SAUCE
- 4 ounces priscuitto cut into strips
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 - small diced onion
- 4 tablespoons parmesan or romano cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream or half n half
- 1/2 cup peas (thawed)
- 1 can italian plum tomatoes with basil
- - black pepper to taste
How To Make penne pasta with priscuitto sauce

Step 1Saute the priscuitto and onion in a skillet over medium heat.

Step 2Add the tomatoes and break them up with a spoon.

Step 3Add the peas, cream and pepper.

Step 4Cook until slightly thickened.

Step 5Add the grated cheese.

Step 6Serve over cooked pasta and sprinkle with more cheese before serving.
