Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium onion diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1/2 cup vodka
- 28 ounces can whole tomatoes pureed in blender to your taste
- 8 ounces can tomato sauce
- 1/4 pound prosciutto ham
- 4 ounces heavy cream
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make penne a la vodka

Step 1Melt butter and saute onion in butter til soft. Add garlic and saute.

Step 2Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, red pepper and vodka. Simmer 20 minutes.

Step 3Remove from heat. Add ham and cream. Add Salt and pepper to taste.

Step 4Serve immediately over penne pasta.
