  • 1
    onion, chopped
  • 2 can(s)
    (14.5 oz.) sliced stewed tomatoes
  • 2 can(s)
    (6 oz.) tomato paste
  • 2 can(s)
    (8 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 3/4 tsp
  • 1-2
    bay leaves
  • ·
    add water to desired consistency

  • 1 lb
  • 1 c
    crushed onion/garlic croutons
  • 1/8 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2
  • 1/2 c
    parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 c
  • ·
    salt and pepper

How to Make Peg's Spaghetti & Meatballs


  1. Mix sauce ingredients together in large pot and cook for at least 2 hours.
  2. Mix meatball ingredients together. Place foil on a large cookie sheet and spray with cooking spray. Form meatballs and place on cookie sheet. Bake in a 375º until done. Add to sauce and continue to simmer. Remove bay leaves before serving.
  3. NOTE: Three jars of spaghetti sauce can be substituted for the sauce ingredients.
