Ingredients

  • 1 pound pasta shells
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 can peas
  • 1 small onion
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 large egg

How To Make peas and macaroni

  • Step 1
    In a pot sauté your onion in extra virgin olive oil. Add a can of tomatoes. Add your egg mixing well as you bring to a boil. Add salt and pepper and reduce to simmer. Add a can of peas (drained) or a bag of frozen peas.
  • Step 2
    Boil the water for your shells and salt your water
  • Peas and Macaroni with grated cheese
    Step 3
    When shells are cooked you can save a ladle full of the pasta water (if you like a thinner sauce). Now pour your sauce over your macaroni and add some grated cheese!
