I have been making this for more years than I care to count and it is always well received. Even my daughters friends want the recipe and it is so easy. It is always requested.

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1 cup celery chopped
  • 1 large green pepper chopped
  • 1 can red pack tomato puree
  • 1 can chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons italian seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red papper
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional)

How To Make patsy's goulash

  • Step 1
    brown ground beef in dutch oven, drain, add celery,onion, green pepper and seasonings. cook until veggies are medium.
  • Step 2
    Add tomato puree and canned tomatoes. Add salt and pepper to taste. Simmer until nice and thick.

    Cook elbow pasta in well salted water until al dente, drain and mix with sauce. Add the butter for flavor and enjoy...
