Ingredients
- 1/2 cup acini di pepe or orzo
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon Better Than Bouillon chicken bouillon
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan, plus more for serving
- cracked black pepper
- fresh chives
How To Make pastina

Step 1Mix the water and chicken bouillon together in a saucepan. Bring to a boil.

Step 2Add the pasta and let it simmer over medium-low heat until most of the water is absorbed.

Step 3Break the egg into a bowl and add the Parmesan cheese.

Step 4While stirring, constantly drizzle in the egg cheese mixture until a creamy texture appears.

Step 5Serve topped with more Parmesan, cracked black pepper, and chives.
