I love this recipe,very easy and soooo good one of my favorites.Even better made with garden tomatoes.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb.
    bacon
  • 3 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 2 1/2
    lg. onions
  • 3
    lg. cloves garlic
  • 1
    28 oz. can of diced tomatoes
  • 1
    16 oz. can diced tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp
    tarragon
  • ·
    salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp
    red pepper
  • 1/4 c
    minced fresh parsley
  • 1 1/2 lb
    linguine pasta
  • 2 tsp
    sugar
  • ·
    fresh grated parmesan cheese

How to Make Pasta With Tomato Bacon Sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. Fry bacon,crumble set aside.
    Keep 1 Tab.of bacon greese in skillet add olive oil and onions. Saute till tender stir in garlic,tomatoes,salt,tarragon,pepper and sugar.
    simmer 30 min.to reduce liquid.
    Add bacon and parsley.serve over buttered pasta.
